    Here’s a summary of govcon industry news for the week of Nov. 2.

    WashingtonExec conducted a number of STEM-related interviews: AT&T’s Kay Kapoor spoke about the importance of STEM opportunities for women; Fairfax County Public School board member Patty Reed wrote an op-ed on whether or not the general public is losing its steam on STEM; and TJHSST student Rupali Dhumne created Project CODEt in an effort to expose girls to computer science.

    Our Family Series continued with Donna Morea and Adam Chandler, along with Angela Baroni Berzonsky.

    The Greater Washington GovCon Awards Interview Series wrapped up with CollabraLink Technologies President Rahul Pandhi.

    Federal contract awards went to WBB, MacAulay-Brown Inc., eGlobalTech, SAIC, NCI Inc., Serco Inc., Pragmatics, and Engineering, Solutions and Products LLC.

    In Executive Moves and Board Appointments, DigitalGlobe Inc. named Dr. Roger Mason Jr. to its Board of Directors.
