WashingtonExec Summer Reading List Series:
It’s Summer! Time to kick back in the breeze with a glass of lemonade and a good book. To get in on the fun, WashingtonExec asked local area executives just what books they plan to read this season. Whether they are using their down time to get an edge as an industry expert, or just read a fun, fictional story, this is what they picked:
Dr. Evan Glazer is the Principal of Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology. This season he plans to read David and Goliath: Underdogs, Misfits, and the Art of Battling Giants by Malcolm Gladwell. A fan of the author’s ability to use irony and identify essential elements to simplify the meaning of complex situations, Dr. Glazer looks forward to re-imagining the classic metaphor for overcoming disabilities and over bearing obstacles.
