Reston, Va.-based Leidos announced May 6 the appointment of Andrew Strampach as Vice President of Business Development for the Global Services Group (GSG) within the company’s National Security Sector.
“Andrew’s tremendous background in strategy and business development, combined with his broad range of expertise in management, operations, technology, and business practices will have an immediate impact on executing the GSG strategy and driving growth with key customers,” Leidos Group President Mary Craft said.
GSG specializes in geospatial intelligence, missions support services, intelligence analysis, technical operations, mission operations, end-to-end security services, and education and field training support.
In this position, Strampach will execute the GSG strategy and lead strategic growth for customers across the Dept. of Defense and intelligence community. He has held positions at Parsons Government Services, General Dynamics Advanced Information Systems and Science Applications International Corporation. Strampach served in the U.S. Air Force from 1976 to 1998.
Strampach earned a Master of Science in Systems Management from the Florida Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Arts in Social Sciences from the University of the Philippines.
