    SAVE THE DATE: NVTC Titans Breakfast Series to Host Frank Kendall

    The Northern Virginia Technology Council (NVTC) continues its Titans Breakfast Series Event series on May 19 at the Ritz-Carlton in McLean. U.S. Dept. of Defense Under Secretary of Defense for Acquisition, Technology and Logistics Frank Kendall will be the featured speaker. He will share his insights on the efforts to transform the DoD through technology and improve the performance of the defense acquisition enterprise.

    Kendall has more than 40 years of experience in engineering, management, defense acquisition, and national security affairs in private industry, government and the military. As Under Secretary, Kendall is responsible for all matters pertaining to acquisition; research and engineering; developmental testing; contract administration; logistics and materiel readiness; installations and environment; operational energy; chemical, biological, and nuclear weapons; the acquisition workforce; and the defense industrial base.

    The event begins at 7 a.m. with registration and networking; the program will run from 8 to 9:15 a.m.

    The cost to attend is $75 for NVTC members, $50 for start-up technology members and $150 for non-members. A member table of 10 is $750, and a non-member table of 10 is $1,500. Walk-ins will be accepted on a space-available basis at a rate of $85 for members and $160 for non-members.
