Reston, Va.-based Vistronix Intelligence & Technology Solutions announced April 13 the appointment of Peter A. Marino to the company’s Board of Directors, effective immediately.

“We are fortunate to have someone of Peter’s caliber,” Vistronix President and CEO John Hassoun said. “His insight will help us leverage our cyber and big data analytics capabilities as we expand further in the national intelligence community.”

“We are honored to have Peter join our Board of Directors,” Board Chairman Deepak Hathiramani said. “His broad experience across the intelligence and defense community will be extremely valuable during this time of growth and transformation.”

Marino has held a number of senior positions with the Central Intelligence Agency and has served within the private sector at Lockheed Electronics Co. Inc., Fairfield Industries Inc., E-Systems Inc., Fire Arms Training Systems, Morgan Stanley and Teneo Holdings.

Marino earned a bachelor’s degree in physics from Rollins College and a master’s degree from Pennsylvania State University. He is a Harvard Senior Executive Fellow.
