The 5th Annual G&J Charity Golf Classic at the Tom Fazio-designed Piedmont Club in Haymarket, Va. will be Aug. 4, 2015, presented by Intuitive.IT‘s Gil Guarino and TeraThink Corporation‘s John Munies.
Proceeds will benefit the Wolf Trap Foundation’s arts and education programs, including the Wolf Trap Institute for Early Learning through the Arts.
“John and I are looking forward to another great event both as avid golfers and long-time Wolf Trap Foundation supporters,” Guarino said. “In the first two hours, we had 10 teams commit and sign up for foursomes, knowing that the proceeds support a great set of programs run by Wolf Trap Foundation’s Institute for Early Learning Through the Arts. We welcome new and returning entrants and encourage anyone interested to sign up early.”
The event opens with a continental breakfast and the golf range at 7:30 a.m., followed by a golf clinic at 8 a.m. The tournament begins at 9 a.m. with a shotgun start and scramble format. Lunch and a silent auction will follow the tournament.
Entrance fees include greens fee and two carts per foursome, practice balls set up at the range one hour prior to tee-off, a professionally-led clinic, continental breakfast and lunch after the tournament, prizes, beverage cart(s) service (pay as you go), longest drive and closest to the pin contests and raffle prize opportunities. A maximum of 36 foursomes will be able to play in the event.
The cost for each foursome is $800 ($200 per player) or $1,000, which includes a hole sponsorship. Team Captain payments are required online at the time of registration through the Piedmont Charitable Foundation’s (PCF) website.
