AT&T Government Solutions (AGS), a division of AT&T Inc., announced Jan. 29 the appointment of Jill T. Singer as Vice President, National Security.

In her new role, Singer will lead AGS’ business across the national security community and oversee delivery of AT&T’s strategic technology solutions and services to national security agencies throughout the federal marketplace.

“Jill is a proven leader with strong Federal Government industry experience and relationships across national security agencies in particular. We are delighted to have her join our team,” AT&T Government Solutions President Kay Kapoor said.

“AT&T is at the forefront of innovative, advanced communications and technology solutions that can help national security agencies effectively conduct their work and achieve their goals,” Singer said. “It’s an exciting company, and I look forward to helping federal government customers harness the power of AT&T.”

“During the past two years, I’ve had the opportunity to work closely with Jill, first as a personal advisor and then as a member of Ingenicomm’s Board of Advisors,” Ingenicomm Inc. President and CEO Amit Puri said. “She is a highly astute business leader who commands respect not only as a former senior executive in the federal government, but also as a deeply insightful and results-oriented contractor who combines business and technical prowess with a keen understanding of corporate strategy. Jill has been extremely influential in Ingenicomm’s success, and I have no doubt that she will prove to be a true asset to AT&T with her unique insights into technology.”

Singer brings 27 years of federal experience to AT&T in the areas of transformation, strategy, leadership and technology. Most recently, she was a partner at Deep Water Point, a privately-held firm that specializes in the U.S. federal government market.
