Subsystem Technologies Inc. (SUBSYSTEMs) announced Dec. 8 it has been awarded a contract to provide weapon system and munitions life cycle supportability services to the Logistic Research Engineering Directorate (LRED) of the U.S. Army’s Armament Research, Development and Engineering Center (ARDEC) at Picatinny Arsenal, N.J.

“SUBSYSTEMs is a forerunner in providing unmatched integrated logistics support to LRED and its Life Cycle Supportability Division to ensure the optimum performance in our nation’s defense,” SUBSYSTEMs Defense Division Director Indra Nayee said. “This award continues the SUBSYSTEMs legacy of national defense services, notably with ARDEC, in providing net-centric solutions that are highly adaptable to the warfighter needs in a rapidly changing environment. We are excited and honored to continue our long-term partnership with ARDEC.”

The Arlington, Va.-based SUBSYSTEMs’ contract with ARDEC will provide logistics support of weapons and ammunition in all phases of the life cycle. The company will provide integrated logistics support management, publications, provisioning, MANPRINT, new equipment training and material management services for weapons and munitions for the U.S. warfighter.

ARDEC is an internationally-acknowledged hub for the advancement of armaments technology and engineering innovation.

WashingtonExec last covered SUBSYSTEMs $4.4 million task order award in July from ARDEC to provide Towed Artillery Digitization Program Support.
