Trowbridge & Trowbridge, LLC (T&T) has won a $69 million prime contract to provide enterprise-wide information technology solutions for the Department of Labor’s (DOL) Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS).
T&T started work on the contract on January 1, and will support the BLS offices in Washington, D.C. and field sites throughout the country.
Karen Trowbridge, T&T’s CEO and president, said following the announcement, “We’re honored that the Department of Labor believed in the value we can bring to their mission operations, and we’re proud to be supporting the U.S. government’s principal fact-finding agency in the field of economics and statistics, especially at such a critical time in our nation’s economy.”
The contract builds on T&T’s current portfolio of enterprise IT services and DOL business.
T&T’s COO Chris Brandell noted, “The BLS IT Infrastructure Support Services contract expands T&T’s current presence at the Department of Labor and our expertise in migrating a highly mobile workforce to cloud-based solutions. We look forward to partnering with BLS in support of their important goals.”
T&T and its team will provide all aspects of end-user support, including Unix/Linux and IT infrastructure services, WAN communication systems, complex enterprise storage systems and computer security, the company said.
T&T, a woman owned small business, plans to modernize and maintain the BLS networks to enhance connectivity and statistical application program performance. The team’s support will encompass BLS field sites in Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Kansas City, New York City, Philadelphia and San Francisco.
T&T services include information technology, data center operations, cyber security and unified communications for the federal civilian, defense and health markets.
