    Holly Kortright, Deltek

Deltek, Inc. has been named one of the healthiest employers in the Washington, D.C. region by the Washington Business Journal (WBJ). Deltek is the leading global provider of enterprise software and information solutions for professional services firms and government contractors, and The WBJ Healthiest Employers Award program recognizes the Washington region’s top 50 healthiest employers based on a wide range of factors.

These factors include proven success creating workplace wellness programs and a clear commitment to emphasizing the strategic importance of better health at work and at home.

“We are thrilled that Deltek has been recognized as one of the healthiest employers in the Greater Washington Region,” said Holly Kortright, SVP of Human Resources and the leader of Deltek’s Wellness team. “What began as a campaign for a healthier, happier work environment has blossomed into an ongoing wellness initiative with fulltime employees actively managing the program. Deltek continues to think of new ways to create a healthy work environment, and we have designed a comprehensive program that combines company-funded exercise initiatives with ongoing employee education on how to act and stay healthy at work and at home.”

Now in its second year, the Greater Washington”s Healthiest Employers Award honors companies with policies and initiatives promoting the health and well-being of their employees.

Deltek offers a variety of programs to promote a healthier and active workplace including a free, onsite fitness center, high and low impact exercise programs such as yoga, running and biking clubs, and free seated massages. It was recognized in the large employer category (1,000-4,999 employees) because of its unwavering commitment to maintaining a healthy workforce.
