On Thursday, November 7th, XLA was recognized as Contractor of the Year ($25 million to $75 million) by the Fairfax County Chamber of Commerce and the Professional Services Council (PSC) at the 2013 Greater Washington Government Contractor (GovCon) Awards. XLA CEO Lloyd Mustin accepted the award at the 11th Annual Awards Gala at the Ritz Carlton in Tysons Corner, VA.
The GovCon Contractor of the Year award honors government contractors in the Greater Washington-area that have proven substantial financial and operational accomplishments and have made significant contributions to their employees, the government contracting industry, and the U.S. Government over the past year. This year XLA (www.xla.com) was named the Contractor of the Year for companies with annual revenues between $25 million and $75 million.
“Being recognized by the Fairfax Chamber and PSC as Contractor of the Year is quite an honor, indeed”, said Bill Weber, XLA President and Chief Operating Officer. “When this leadership team set a vision for what XLA could be as a company – one that great employees, great partners, and this great country alike would consistently put their faith and trust in, we had in mind a company that would be worthy of such an award. We couldn’t be more excited.”
