Link Solutions, Inc. (LSi) has appointed David Thornton as Chief Financial Officer. Thornton will be responsible for the overall leadership of LSi’s contracts, financial and accounting activities, including financial planning, reporting and analysis, and the banking and treasury function.

“Dave and I have years of work experience as partners, and I believe we share a philosophy of fiscal discipline to ensure a healthy financial and contractual corporate posture. I felt we needed a strong and experienced candidate to lead our Company’s finance, accounting, contracts, and corporate administration activities as we grow out of the small business portfolio and evolve into a full and open business prime contractor,” said LSi President and CEO Bhupesh Wadhawan.

As Chief Financial Officer, Thornton will be responsible for leading and managing the day-to-day operations of our Finance/Accounting, Contracts, and Corporate Administration Teams.

Dave is the former EVP/CFO of Catapult Technologies, a veteran-owned large business serving a collection of agencies in the federal market. At Catapult over the last six years, Dave was responsible for management of all financial and contract administration functions as the company grew from a small to mid-tier IT services provider. Prior to joining Catapult, he held senior and executive level positions in companies’ as diverse in size as CACI, Alpha Insight, and IMC. His previous experience includes over 25 years of corporate financial and M&A experience, primarily in the government contracting environment.
