The Art of Worldly Wisdom by Gracian Balthasar. This 17th-century long-admired book provides aphorisms and reflections on the morality of success, combining brevity and grace of expression with wise advice.
James Madison by Richard Brookhiser. Witty, wise, and elegant account of the great American icon James Madison – Father of the Constitution, framer of the Bill of Rights, and 4th President.
Give and Take by Adam Grant. Provides insight on how people work with others, specifically three types: takers, matchers, and givers, supplemented by research and interesting stories, making this an enjoyable read.
