Deshawn Bell has joined Tyto Athene’s chief technology officer team as a mission technology strategist.
Bell first joined Tyto Athene in September through its Defense Department SkillBridge Internship Program, and is now a permanent team member.
Bell brings 36 years of experience in the military, including 8 years as an enlisted soldier and 28 years as a warrant officer, all dedicated to serving as a signal soldier and Army communicator. He worked in tactical, operational and strategic assignments in the Army, Joint and Coalition/Nation Partner environments.
He was first connected with Tyto Athene during his tenure as the NETCOM Command chief warrant officer and senior technical advisor to the NETCOM commander. He later transitioned out of military service and continued working closely with Tyto through the internship program, where he helped solve communications and IT challenges for the government, the company said.
As mission technology strategist, Bell will help with Tyto’s overall strategy and mission success.
