MicroPact has selected John D. Young to serve as the company’s Chief Financial Officer (CFO). As a result, he grew revenues from $17 to $43 Million in two years. He also helped lead the successful acquisition of Metron Aviation by Airbus in October 2011.Prior to Metron Aviation, Young served as SVP, CFO, Corporate Secretary and Treasurer at Era Systems Corporation. While there, he successfully managed the company’s financial strategy, fundraising and acquisitions. He has also held leadership positions at the Baan Company, Blackbaud, Inc. and Legent Corporation. Young is a Certified Public Account and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from The Ohio State University.
