    Larry Prior, BAE Systems

The Washington Post has reported that Lawrence (Larry) B. Prior will leave BAE Systems sometime this year. Prior is the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of the global defense, aerospace and security company.

In a short statement on Friday, the company said Prior is leaving, “to pursue other opportunities.”

According to a source close to WashingtonExec, Prior had exit clause in his contract.  He decided to exercise it and it was an amicable split.

Read more about Larry Prior on WashingtonExec, including Prior’s work as a junior officer in Desert Storm, as well as his three pieces of advice to his children.
