Barry Barlow, the SI Org

Barry Barlow is joining The SI Organization, Inc. (the SI) as Chief Technology Officer.

“Barry is a highly respected technologist and gifted leader who has designed and architected many of NGA’s key programs,” said the SI President and CEO Bill Graham. “We have worked closely with Barry for a number of years and have seen the passion and value he brings to the geospatial intelligence mission.”

Barlow, who has more than 36 years of experience leading and delivering technology solutions in the aerospace and defense sector, recently retired from the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) as Director for Online GEOINT Services.

He was previously Director of NGA’s Acquisition Directorate and has also served as NGA’s Chief Architect, NGA’s Chief Engineer, and Program Manager for the National System for Geospatial-Intelligence.

“Barry’s insights into cloud computing, big data analysis, GEOINT integration, and GEOINT data standards will be critical as we look to accelerate development of new market offerings and strengthen existing capabilities,” said the SI’s Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, Deb Oliver.
