Seth Hulkower has been named senior VP in ICF International’s Energy, Environment, and Transportation group.
“Seth Hulkower brings to ICF deep expertise and experience in all facets of the electric distribution business, as well as an extensive network of related industry participants both inside and outside of the United States,” said ICF International Executive VP Sergio Ostria.“Working with senior subject matter experts and other key staff at ICF, he will lead the design and implementation of a strategy to greatly expand ICF’s business in the distribution arena.”
Hulkower, who has more than 25 years of experience, has held leadership responsibility in electric utility operations and management, project development, power pool operations, power contract negotiations, utility regulation, and power plant design and construction. At ICF, he will lead the design and implementation of a strategy to expand the business in the distribution arena for electric operations, customer operations, and business process outsourcing.
Prior to joining ICF, Hulkower was, from 1996 to 2007, the chief operating officer of Long Island Power Authority (LIPA). Most recently, he was President of Strategic Energy Advisors, LLC, a privately held consulting firm.
Hulkower holds a master’s in technology and policy from Massachusetts Institute of Technology and bachelor’s degrees in mechanical engineering and economics from Tufts University.
