Fiberlink won two awards at the June 2012 Government Technology Research Alliance (GTRA) Council Meeting. MaaS360, the company’s mobility management platform, won the “Best Secure Mobility Roundtable” and David Ligenfelter, Fiberlink’s Information Security Officer, along with his team, received the “Most Dynamic Speaker” award for the panel Developing a Secure Mobile Strategy: Network, Apps, BYOD and More.
Kelly Yocum, CEO and Co-Founder of GTRA said, “GTRA is happy to announced Fiberlink as the winner of the ‘Best Secure Mobility Rountable’ award and one of the recipients of the ‘Most Dynamic Speaker’ awards. Winning these two awards show Fiberlink is a highly recognized thought leader in the government sector.”
Ligenfelter said, “As the enterprise mobility market continues to mature, organizations will need more advanced management that spans across devices, networks, apps and documents for both corporate and BYOD. While having visibility and control at the device level will still be considered a best practice, much of the focus will be on the data and ensuring that it’s handled and protected appropriately.”
The GTRA Council brings executive-level government technology leaders together to collaborate, strategize and create innovative solutions for government-wide challenges.
