The U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) has accredited Knowledge Consulting Group (KCG) as a Third Party Assessment Organization (3PAO) under the Federal Risk and Authorization Management Team (FedRAMP).

KCG is a leading provider of cybersecurity services to the federal government and commercial organizations.

As a FedRAMP accredited 3PAO, KCG is authorized to perform security assessments for the Cloud Service Providers (CSPs) seeking FedRAMP provisional authorization. Under FedRAMP, CSPs must use a third-party assessment to demonstrate that their information systems meet security requirements.

“KCG’s designation as a 3PAO demonstrates our commitment and rigor in delivering high quality security assessments that will provide FedRAMP with an accurate representation of risk in granting provisional authorizations,” said Paul Nguyen, Vice President of Cyber Solutions for KCG.

KCG is headquartered in Reston, Virginia and is a privately-owned business.
