    WashingtonExec Series:

WashingtonExec asked the simple question to top area executives:

“If you could give your kids only three pieces of advice, what would they be?”

Today’s insight is from Larry Rosenfeld, CEO of Sage Communications.

    1.  Work. Work. Work. But don’t forget to play, too. Make sure you always have a good work / life balance.

    2.  Follow your heart, build a career where you can do what you love  — and it will never be work.

    3.  Always do the right thing, be nice, and treat people the way you want to be treated.

    4.  Be spontaneous. Make long term plans but don’t be afraid to deviate from them to take advantage of opportunities as they present themselves.
