    Mac Curtis, Veritas Capital

Mac Curtis has joined the executive team at  Veritas Capital. In his new role, Curtis will work to identify and acquire high-quality companies in the government contracting space with Veritas. Curtis is the former CEO of Vangent, acquired in September of last year by General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT).

“After a four month vacation, post-Vangent sale, it is time to get back to work. I’ve accepted an executive position at Veritas Capital. My role is to help identify, assess and acquire high quality companies in the government space, consistent with the focus and (successful) Veritas strategy. I will remain in the Washington metro area. I am ready to get back to work and very excited about contributing to Veritas success in the government space. Thanks,” Curtis wrote on his LinkedIn page earlier today.

Late last year, Vangent won the 2011 Greater Washington Government Contracting Award for the greater than $300 million division. The event was hosted by the Fairfax Chambers of Commerce.
