Edwin Prugh (@eprugh09), president of NEVIN Communications, was chosen as this year’s key speaker and panelist at the Washington Journalism and Media Conference. The conference, hosted at George Mason University (GMU), will run from Sunday, July 10 to Friday, July 15 at GMU’s Fairfax Campus.
“This is a great opportunity for me to help the next generation of journalists and communications professionals learn first-hand about the exciting industry,” Prugh says. “Participating in this conference gives me the chance to share ideas with students so they can learn to tell their stories to many different audiences.”
This will be the third consecutive year that Prugh will be leading the conference with many other award-winning journalists from organizations such as CNN, NBC News, New York Times, Politico and the Washington Post. The conference will include topics of discussion such as public relations, journalism and communication in the digital world. This week-long event will give aspiring journalists, public relations coordinators and other communication majors an exclusive hands-on experience on how to build a successful career in the communication industry.
