Salient Federal Solutions Wins $17M Contract to Support U.S OPM’s Benefits Systems Division

Salient Federal Solutions, Inc. (Salient) has won a $17 million Systems Support, Maintenance and Development (SSMD) contract for the US Office of Personnel Management (OPM)’s Benefits Systems Division. This one-year award, made under the OPM BPA, has three one–year option periods.

“This work is significant to Salient where we have been supporting the Benefits Systems mission since 2000,” said Salient CEO Brad Antle. “We understand the critical nature of these systems and are proud to bring our expertise to provide exceptional support to OPM; continuing our longstanding partnership for the next several years.”

The Office of Personnel Management’s (OPM), Office of Chief Information Officer, Benefits Systems supports, enhances, and develops applications for Retirement Services, Healthcare and Insurance, Chief Financial Officer, and Office of Actuary. Under the contract, Salient will provide full life-cycle software application services-related operations, maintenance, and enhancement for the constituents of OPM’s retirement, healthcare, insurance, and related benefits systems.
