The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) has selected Unissant, Inc. to support it’s tax collection system. Joining the team is SAIC, which is one of the ten largest System Integrators (SI) in the DC metro area.

“With the state of the economy, it has become imperative that the IRS collect taxes efficiently and has required checks and balances in place to flag offenders,” said Manish Malhotra, President and CEO of Unissant. “This makes us very proud of our capabilities and accomplishments. This award makes us proud of our capabilities to support the IRS in its strategic mission.”

Unissant will provide critical support for the operations, maintenance, and modification of the Integrated Collection System (ICS) and the ENTITY reporting system, as well as provide services to modify the applications based on legislative or other critical operational changes.

Also, Unissant recently was awarded a contract with the National Science Foundation (NSF) for public-facing web applications.
