The White House is trying a new way of interacting with citizens –through Twitter Online “Office Hours.”
Aneesh Chopra, U.S. Federal CTO, as well as Rebecca Blank, U.S. Acting Deputy Secretary of Commerce and Under Secretary for Economic Affairs, answered questions at 3:30pm on Monday, January 9th, under the hashtag #WHChat.
Fulfillment of the 2010 COMPETES Reauthorization Act, signed by President Obama exactly 12 months ago was the topic of discussion. Future federal investment in innovation, education and research were also discussed.
