Computer security service firm LGS Innovations announced July 18 that the company has been awarded a five-year contract in support of the Yongsan Relocation Plan Increment 2C (YRP-2C) by the U.S. Army under the Alliant contract.

“LGS had the right combination of risk management and logistical expertise to undertake this project, as well as a 20-year history of successful overseas network infrastructure design and installations for the Army,” LGS Innovations CEO Kevin Kelly said. “This will help the U.S. Army move into a less congested area of the Korean peninsula and update their infrastructure to improve readiness while enhancing its partnership with local communities.”

LGS is relocating and upgrading Command, Control, Communications, Computers, and Intelligence (C4I) systems and infrastructure as part of the migration of assets and capabilities from U.S. Army facilities throughout the Republic of Korea (ROK) to U.S. Army Garrison (USAG) Humphreys.

In partnership with the U.S. Army, LGS will plan, design, engineer, install and test the communications network infrastructure, design the virtualized data center infrastructure and migrate C4I systems to a new USAG Humphrey’s network architecture.

The Increment 2C contract in support of both YRP and LPP will relocate the assets and capabilities of the United Nations Command (UNC) and United States Forces Korea (USFK) from facilities throughout the ROK peninsula to consolidated locations on the United States Army Garrison – Humphreys (USAG-H) and other facilities in the ROK.
