Rick Wagner won the 2018 Intelligence Executive of the Year Award during his tenure at ManTech. Here, he accepts his award from Ryan Newman of Goldman Sachs.

Former ManTech executive Rick Wagner has joined Microsoft as the new corporate vice president of Microsoft Federal, the company’s branch dedicated to serving government customers.

In his new position, Wagner is responsible for supporting a variety of federal agencies in delivering mission-critical work, according to his LinkedIn.

He will also continue Microsoft Federal’s mission of enabling secure digital transformations, mission-focused operations and tools, compliance mechanisms and technology engagement for federal clients.

Wagner brings over 30 years of industry experience to the role. His career began as an engineer for the Defense Department and he most recently served as president of ManTech’s Mission, Cyber and Intelligence Solutions Group. In that role, he was named a WashingtonExec 2018 Pinnacle Award winner.

In 2019, Wagner made WashingtonExec’s 2019 Top 25 Execs to Watch list.
