Cigar smoke danced through the air of an outside patio overlooking Congressional Country Club’s 18th hole Thursday evening as WashingtonExec members, supporters and past speakers gathered for the company’s fourth annual appreciation event.

Digital Management, Inc. (DMI) sponsored the invite-only evening, which drew a crowd of more than 80 aimed at connecting thought leaders from each of WashingtonExec’s ten Councils.

Dennis Kelly, A-T Solutions President and CEO, said he found the event to be valuable.

“It was a great event to connect with a wide array of fast growing company executives and reconnect with old friends,” Kelly said.  “The setting was perfect providing a relaxed atmosphere for networking.”

Guests socialized in the Windsor Room of the Bethesda, Md. country club over drinks and a buffet style dinner.

“WashingtonExec provides a thought provoking forum for Industry and Government leaders to critically assess the dynamic market environment and share best practices while building professional relationships,” said Tim Gillespie, Vice President of Business Development at Engility Corporation.

The Member Appreciation event is a WashingtonExec hallmark. In the year since the previous member appreciation event, WashingtonExec has spearheaded and hosted the DC area’s first STEM Symposium which drew more than 1,500 attendees, added two councils and profiled a slew of executives, among other feats.
