On Thursday June 30th the Women’s Bureau will host the New York Professional Workers’ National Dialogue on Workplace Flexibility. This is the 10th and final dialogue of the series. The dialogue will feature workplace flexibility experts, women’s right leaders, business leaders as well as union leaders. The goal is to discuss the challenges in the way of a flexible workplace and how to reach workable solutions.

This dialogue is in agreement with President Obama and Secretary of Labor Hilda Solis’ objective of a more adaptable workplace, particularly for women.

Secretary Solis and the Department of Labor recently released a report focusing on experiences of women in the United States workforce. The report titled, Women’s Employment During the Recovery, spotlights key data about female workers and explains what the department is doing to support and train women for success within the workplace.
