Earlier this summer, WashingtonExec’s Internet of Things Council hosted a Lunch ‘n’ Learn at Intel Corp. in Fairfax, Virginia. The council was formed to facilitate meaningful exchanges in knowledge, experience and ideas in order to serve the federal government and commercial sectors.
The speakers for this afternoon event were Tiffany Sargent, principal engineer and director of federal IoT solutions at Intel; Lenny Chin, senior mobile applications consultant at AT&T Government Solutions; Syed Towheed, technical director at Vencore; and Rod Fontecilla, vice president and global lead of advanced data analytics at Unisys Corp. Chris Smith, VP of technology at AT&T Government Solutions, moderated the discussion.
Through sharing advice, lessons learned, user cases and expertise among peers, the IoT Council provides a productive and informative forum for executives to better understand the mission needs of the federal IT, health care, public safety, intelligence and defense communities. The council also educates industry thought leaders and assist contractors in driving the federal government’s IoT mission as we approach the year 2020.
“The Lunch ‘n’ Learn was thought provoking and informative,” said JD Kathuria, CEO and founder of WashingtonExec. “The turnout was great, and I’m positive the attendees gained a lot from this event.”
