ManTech International Corporation announced June 13 that the company has acquired Oceans Edge Inc.’s cyber business. ManTech funded the acquisition from cash on hand.

“This acquisition, along with our acquisition of KCG last year, expands our presence with customers who are critical to our nation’s future cyber operations and cyber defense,” ManTech’s Mission, Cyber and Intelligence Solutions (MCIS) Group’s L. William Varner said. “Additionally, Oceans Edge Cyber increases our advanced cyber offerings and the cadre of experienced cyber professionals providing full-spectrum cybersecurity services and solutions wherever the mission dictates.”

“ManTech has established a strong reputation as a leader in the cyber market based on proven performance,” ManTech International Corporation CEO George Pedersen said. “We look forward to developing next generation capabilities for advanced cyber operations and analytics that will protect our customers from emerging threats.”

Headquartered in Reston, Va., Oceans Edge Cyber will add additional vulnerability research, development and analysis capabilities to ManTech’s existing cyber intelligence business.

The acquisition will be slightly accretive to 2016 financial results.
