The General Services Administration (GSA) Federal Systems Integration and Management Center (FEDSIM) announced Oct. 7 that it has awarded ManTech International Corp. a contract to provide cyber range services to the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) and U.S. Marine Corps (USMC).
ManTech has supported DISA and USMC cyber range exercises since 2009, and this award expands services and capabilities to enhance cyber workforce operational tactics, techniques and procedures across agencies.
“The cyber range is one of the most critical training resources available to help cyber security professionals fight and win cyber battles on the front lines,” ManTech’s Mission, Cyber & Intelligence Group President L. William Varner said. “ManTech looks forward to providing the best possible tools and resources for preparing our next generation of cyber warriors.”
The contract has a one-year base period and three option years, with a value of $250 million.
Under the contract, ManTech will continue to provide advanced information technology, cyber engineering, training, red team support and information assurance, as well as certification and accreditation services to enhance a real-world cyber security training experience.
