    USGIF Adds Tish Long, Six Others to its Board of Directors

    The Herdon, Va.-based U.S. Geospatial Intelligence Foundation (USGIF) announced Oct. 2 the addition of seven members to its Board of Directors. The newest board members include David Alexander, Julia Bowers, John Fenwick, Michael C. Grochol, Letitia A. Long, Manh Pham and the Hon. Caryn A. Wagner.

    USGIF’s Board now includes 25 directors representing the GEOINT community.

    “The USGIF Board of Directors will benefit immensely from the wisdom these individuals bring,” USGIF Board of Directors Chairman The Hon. Jeffrey K. Harris said. “They represent a variety of experiences and perspectives that will help us govern and further our educational mandate across this exciting, technology-infused, rapidly changing GEOINT mission.”

    • David Alexander is the geospatial information officer and director of the Geospatial Management Office (GMO) with the U.S. Dept. of Homeland Security (DHS)
    • Julia Bowers is Spatial Networks‘ Chief Operating Officer
    • John Fenwick, co-founder of Skybox Imaging, is currently Google’s Skybox operations manager
    • Michael C. Grochol is a principal and senior partner at ISPA Technology
    • Letitia (Tish) A. Long is the former director of the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA)
    • Manh Pham is a manager at Accenture Federal Services
    • The Hon. Caryn A. Wagner is an independent consultant and adjunct faculty member of the National Intelligence University

    USGIF is a nonprofit educational foundation dedicated to promoting the geospatial intelligence tradecraft.
