The 2015 Greater Washington Government Contractor of the Year Awards will be held on Thursday, November 5th at the Ritz Carlton in Tysons Corner.

Hosted by the Fairfax County Chamber of Commerce and the Professional Services Council, the awards are the premier event honoring GovCon leaders in the Virginia, D.C. and Maryland.

This year’s awards will be segmented into 4 categories: Contractor of the Year, Executive of the Year, Program of the Year, and Public Sector Partner of the Year. Each category will be split into smaller subcategories based on company size and revenue. Along with the stated awards, the Greater Washington GovCon Awards will induct one GovCon member into its Government Contractors Hall of Fame. The honoree must demonstrate unparalleled excellence and life-long contribution to the GovCon industry and community. The honoree is nominated and selected by a special, unbiased, selection committee.

Award winners will be announced at the black tie affair affectionately referred to by participants as the “Academy Awards of Government Contracting.”

The nomination process for 2015 is open and underway. For more information on the awards and finalist submission qualifications, click here.
