Baly Ambegaoker acquired an interest in CENTERPOINT, Inc. and has joined the company as chairwoman and chief executive officer alongside current CEO Ed Silva, the Reston, Va.-based company announced last week.

CENTERPOINT provides federal government tailored enterprise mobile solutions, cybersecurity lifecycle management and IT governance.

Ambegaoker joins the company after serving roles with CACI International, Inc. — joining through the acquisition of IDL Solutions, the company she founded and led as CEO — and later serving as CACI Health and Human Services Client Executive.

“I look forward to helping lead CENTERPOINT in its continued expansion,” Ambegaoker said. “In taking on the cybersecurity, IT governance and mobile solutions markets, CENTERPOINT has poised itself for rapid growth in the near future.”

Silva, CENTERPOINT president, founder and CEO, said he is thrilled to work alongside Ambegaoker: “These are very exciting times at CENTERPOINT.  As we move into our next phase of strategic growth and client development, it is great to have somebody of Baly’s caliber lead the Company with me,” he said.

Ambegaoker has been recognized as Entrepreneur of the Year by the U.S. Small Business Administration and has earned the Top 40 under 40 award. She is also a champion for women in industry and has been an active member with the  National Association of Women Business Owners and the Wisconsin Women’s Board of Directors.
