Serco Inc., announced today the award of a new multiple award indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity (ID/IQ) contract to provide global communication systems for the U.S. Army.

Serco was selected as one of 12 companies to compete for tasks on the Communications and Transmission Systems (CTS) contract. The contract vehicle has an overall ceiling value of $4.1 billion over a five-year period.
Under the contract, Serco will provide design, procurement, installation and testing services in support of delivering global, mission-critical communication systems.
Serco currently provides communication system solutions to the U.S. Air Force and U.S. Navy. Utilizing its Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Collaboration and Intelligence (C5I) expertise, the company delivers engineering, systems integration, hardware procurement, software development, technical support, installation and testing, operations and maintenance solutions.
The company will utilize its experience in the areas of engineering, Operations & Maintenance (O&M), and lifecycle management services to provide a more secure, operational, and sustainable network communications solutions for the United States’ expeditionary warfighters.
