INADEV recently named Scott Armstrong Chief Strategy Officer of the firm. In his new role, Armstrong will oversee the company’s mobile product strategy which includes the funding, pricing and all activities related to marketing Taposé, a split screen journal and content creation iOS app, and Mobile Edge, a proprietary app development system. He will also lead INADEV’s strategic partnerships, marketing, acquisitions, and new business operations.

Armstrong previously served at Symantec, leading Strategic Initiatives and Programs focusing on cybersecurity, mobility, and cloud initiatives for the public sector markets. Armstrong joined Symantec after its acquisition of Gideon Technologies, where Armstrong served as Vice President. He also held executive positions at Secure Elements (acquired by Fortinet), Mercator Software (acquired by Ascential Software), Aether Systems and UUNET.
