CGI Federal (CGI) has received a $49 million contract modification for its ongoing work with missile modules from the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center (SPAWARSYSCEN) Atlantic.

The contract modification allows for a $49 million ceiling increase on CGI’s current work with indefinite-delivery indefinite-quantity (ID/IQ) Missile Module Integration contracts through September, 2012.

SPAWARSYSCEN Atlantic, who awarded the contract modification, is one of the US Navy Department’s three major acquisition commands, and is charged with “acquiring, installing, delivering and maintaining advanced information technology capabilities to the fleet.”

“Our support for the SPAWAR Systems Center Atlantic, is critical to the mission success of the armed forces,” said Mike Kaszubinski, senior vice president for CGI. “We look forward to continuing and expanding our role in providing the warfighter with the best systems available.”

With the contract modification, CGI will continue to provide execution, testing, and technical support for US Military Command Control, Communications, Computers, Combat Systems, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconaissance (C5ISR) mission modules. Work will be performed in Charleston, South Carolina, and Norfolk, Virginia.
