Unisys Corporation has won a $650 million IDIQ Enterprise Computing Center Support (ECCS) contract from the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) to continue support of the agency’s mission-critical computer environment. The IDIQ contract has a one-year base period and nine one-year options.
“With this contract award, Unisys continues our work with the IRS to help the agency with its mission-critical computing operations,” said group VP of Civilian Agencies at Unisys Federal Systems, Venkatapathi “PV” Puvvada. “We look forward to working with the IRS to provide secure and efficient service in support of U.S. taxpayers.”
Under the contract, Unisys can be awarded task orders by the IRS to provide support and maintenance services for the IRS’ computing environment. All work will be performed under task orders, and the first task order is a firm-fixed-price and has a one-year base period and nine one-year options, with a value of around $14.6 million. The value of each option year increases incrementally over the previous year, and the total task order value is approximately $186.7 million if all options are exercised.
