Erin Moseley has been named senior vice president in Government Relations for BAE Systems, Inc. As senior vice president, Moseley will assume responsibility for all government relations activities for the company’s U.S. market along with maintaining the company’s relations with members of Congress, the Department of Defense and other cabinet-level organizations. She will also be working with state government leaders as well.
“Erin’s vast industry knowledge, experience and relationships will prove a tremendous asset to our organization as we strive to meet the changing needs of government customers facing rapidly shifting budget and security challenges,” said Linda Hudson (pictured), president and CEO of BAE Systems, Inc.
Up until recently, Moseley served as the president of Principled Strategic LLC, a consulting firm she had established in Washington D.C. Moseley has also worked for Lockheed Martin and General Dynamics in senior government relations positions.
Moseley will succeed Bob Fitch, who had announced his plan to retire back in April.
“Bob Fitch has served the defense and intelligence communities with distinction for more than 40 years. I’d like to extend a special thanks to him for his tireless dedication to our company, our industry and our country,” Hudson said.
Before joining the defense industry, Moseley served as special adviser to the deputy director of the U.S. Arms Control and Disarmament Agency. She began her career with the U.S. Department of Energy as an internal safeguards analyst for nuclear weapons and material.
