Andrea Inserra
Executive Vice President, Booz Allen Hamilton
Andrea Inserra said she’s incredibly proud of the work she and her team delivered to the Defense Department, focusing on integrating essential new technologies such as artificial intelligence, cyber and digital twin technologies.
They collaborated with the Air Force to create a concept for the “Base of the Future,” implementing a pilot project at Tyndall Air Force Base using digital twin technologies. This project is a key example of the team’s capability to deliver innovative technologies crucial for missions involving resilient basing, nuclear capabilities and security cooperation, helping DOD maintain a competitive edge.
“Andrea has delivered extraordinary results in our Aerospace business, leading unprecedented growth and new depths for our technical delivery,” said Judi Dotson, president of Global Defense Sector at Booz Allen. “Beyond her leadership in the Aerospace account, she has also played a critical integration role across the entire Sector helping to develop and execute our Global Defense strategy.”
Why Watch
In 2024, Inserra’s team is focused on deepening its work at the heart of mission and technology for its DOD clients. Inserra is especially excited about leveraging capabilities from Booz Allen Venture’s partners like Latent AI, Albedo and Second Front.
“I’m grateful to be recognized among such a phenomenal cohort of defense leaders from across industry,” Inserra said. “It’s an honor to be part of American industry at a moment when the Department of Defense needs us most to deliver on its ambitious modernization agenda with a new sense of urgency.”
Fun fact: Inserra’s career began as an engineer in the oil and gas industry. She said she’s just as comfortable in a hard hat in the field as she is in a boardroom.
