Matt Anderson
Vice President of Space Force & Air Force Client Executive, CACI International Inc.
Matt Anderson firmly believes in the power of collaboration and trust between a company and its customers to drive innovation forward.
Since joining CACI in 2021 as a client executive, Anderson has been key to growing the company’s work with the military. With 24 years as an Air Force officer, he uses his deep knowledge of the Air Force to help achieve U.S. aerospace goals and solve problems.
“My drive to meet and exceed key objectives for the Air Force and Space Force motivates me every day,” he said. “As the Space Force transitions to become the first all-digital military service with a focus on a proliferated constellation of satellites in low-Earth orbit (LEO), our unique blend of expertise and technology offers game-changing options for our nation.”
Anderson collaborates closely with the Department of the Air Force to enhance the use and deployment of advanced technology, such as laser communications for the Space Development Agency’s Proliferated Warfighter Space Architecture. He also works closely with the Space Rapid Capabilities Office to promote CACI’s ground-based electronic warfare systems that provide low-cost, flexible and satellite communications jamming to help protect joint forces from space-enabled attacks.
Why Watch
In 2024, Anderson plans to better match CACI’s goals with the operational priorities set by Secretary of the Air Force Frank Kendall. He intends to keep building strong ties with the department to back CACI’s contracts, including enterprise IT-as-a-service. Additionally, Anderson will keep advocating for CACI’s specialized areas, such as precise multimission navigation and timing, along with tactical intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance.
“While steering notable revenue growth over the past three years, Matt has ensured client trust and helped guarantee mission and contract success,” said Dan Walsh, CACI senior vice president of government and industry relations. “His innate ability to understand DAF requirements, combined with his engaging personality has enabled his rapid and smooth transition as a contributing member of the CACI team.”
