ASM Research’s Mike Robinson Receives WashingtonExec’s Longevity Award

WashingtonExec Founder and CEO JD Kathuria presents ASM Research’s Mike Robinson with a Longevity Award.

WashingtonExec has awarded ASM Research Chief Information Officer Mike Robinson with the Longevity Award, which recognizes executives who have made outstanding contributions to their companies throughout the years.

In a time when job hopping happens more than ever and phrases like “quiet quitting” have become popular, the Longevity Award honors an executive’s long-standing commitments to one company. This award recognizes their contributions to organizational growth, culture, mentorship and knowledge sharing; plus, the journey of evolving and growing with an organization’s success.

Robinson celebrated his 30th anniversary with ASM Research this year. When he first joined, he was looking for a new career in programming. His first role was as a COBOL and CICS programmer, but along the way, he found an interest in various other technologies.
Encouraged by the company, Robinson seized the opportunity to explore those interests. And as ASM grew and evolved, so did he.
In 2011, he was named the deputy CIO. Six months later, he became the CIO tasked with the IT strategy and operational planning for the company and the contracts its IT services team supports.
Throughout all this, Robinson has shown a palpable passion for solving problems, and that’s kind of his superpower. He’s passionate about getting the right technologies and people together in the right place, at the right time, and at the right price.
ASM President John Fraser also called Robinson “a key leader” who brings expertise and enthusiasm and continues to drive change in an ever-growing, evolving business.
“He is an integral part of our company,” Fraser said of Robinson.
With that said, WashingtonExec is honored to present this award to Robinson, to celebrate his 30 years of excellence with the company. ASM encourages employees to explore their interests, expand their skills and invest in their futures, and Robinson is an example of someone who did just that and someone who continues to inspire others along the way.
    Congratulations, Mike!
