Sean Mullen joined Amentum in June to lead the company’s business development and growth strategy.

Mullen’s team has successfully integrated the growth organization, simplified processes, launched a strategy refresh and built a strong pipeline across diverse contracting markets including defense, civilian and intelligence customers.
“The company has combined together to create a diverse customer base ⏤ no single agency accounts for more than 16% of annual revenue, ensuring stability, contract growth and account expansion opportunities with our broad portfolio of capabilities and solutions,” Mullen said.
Amentum also has many contract vehicles, partnerships and unmatched subject matter expertise to offer its customers, in addition to the proven solutions necessary to integrate clean-energy initiatives, platform modernization, digital engineering, science and technology in future programs.
Mullen is excited about fostering a successful team-based approach for growth leaders, business development managers, capture managers, proposal managers, writers, designers and additional functional and operational personnel to drive year-over-year growth into Amentum’s core and emerging markets.
