Amyx, Inc. has hired Air Force veteran and former Treasury Department official Alex Forti as its new director of business development.

Forti oversaw Treasury’s enterprise IT programs spanning across departmental offices and the other nine bureaus. He worked most recently with the General Services Administration as the Treasury representative on implementing Login.gov for taxpayer access to the Internal Revenue Service.

Forti’s industry experience includes serving as an IT project manager at Lockheed Martin, Calibre and Honeywell. He has been recognized for excellence for his part in the rollout of the child tax credit component of the American Rescue Plan Act, and for his leadership in the rollout of the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States system.

“I’m excited for the hire of Alex whose experience and background align perfectly with Amyx’s growth strategy and objectives,” said William Schaefer, CEO and President of Amyx, Inc. “His extensive operations, IT management and growth-oriented accomplishments will help us develop and maintain our corporate pipeline, manage partner relationships, oversee our GWAC and IDIQ vehicles, and carry out our marketing strategy.  Alex will be an invaluable asset to help us achieve our goals and objectives and he is a welcome addition to our high-performing team.”
