Chris Sullivan, Serco

Chris Sullivan

CIO & Senior Vice President, Serco

Chris Sullivan led the go-live of Serco’s new Government Community Cloud – High Azure and M365 environments. He said the entire team has been collaborating and working hard for the past several months to set this up, and it is now in production and ready to support Serco’s Defense Department business in a way that meets or exceeds Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification requirements.

“I am extremely proud of the team here at Serco, and all their accomplishments over the past two years,” he said.

“In those short two years, they quickly and successfully responded to COVID where most of the workforce moved to remote working in a very short time, they completed the IT integration of an acquisition, and completed several technology modernization projects, the most recent being the go-live of our new GCC-High environment. They have shown dedication and have worked tirelessly in support of Serco’s growth strategy.”

Why Watch

In 2022, Sullivan and his team are focused on the migration of the Serco DOD business into GCC-High and preparing for CMMC certification. It is critical all defense industrial base contractors take the requirement to properly safeguard DOD client data very seriously.

Serco also feels very strongly an investment in something like GCC-High is not only important to the company, but the company is also flowing this message down to its partners and suppliers by ensuring they are doing the same.

“Under Chris’ leadership, next-generation IT has become a major driver in Serco’s success,” said Dave Dacquino, Serco chairman and CEO. “We look to Chris as a strategic partner with our business units, business development, marketing and customer relationships in providing innovative IT solutions in areas such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, robotic process automation and data analytics.”
