In this episode of âGivers of GovCon,â we chat with Anne Choate, executive vice president of energy, environment and infrastructure at ICF, and head of ICFâs climate and environmental work. Choate shares why sheâs so passionate about climate change awareness and conservation, and the work sheâs doing with The Nature Conservancy (Pennsylvania) board and the National Academies of Science/Transportation Research Board.
Choate also mentions a Nature Conservancy graphic of the âbiodiversity superhighwayâ and how the species will need to adapt along corridors of protected land as they respond to changes in climate. The graphic shows the NE corridor that follows the Appalachian trail and the importance of the work the Nature Conservancy is doing along the Kittatinny Ridge in Pennsylvania.
