    Chief Security Officer, Peraton

Mike Londregan played a critical role in many of Peraton’s recent successes, and helped the company scale in 2021 to become the world’s leading mission capability integrator and transformative enterprise IT provider.

Working with a high-caliber team, he migrated over 17,000 clearances from two heritage organizations and harmonized over 25 disparate policies and procedures to form one cohesive multidisciplined security program.

The accelerated growth was not without challenges. Peraton’s 2021 trajectory increased the volume, velocity and severity of risks to the company. In December alone, the team blocked over 10,5 million email threats.

“The security team was instrumental in clearing the path for us to pursue new innovations as emerging geopolitical threats continue to challenge national security,” said Peraton Chief Operating Officer Jeremy Wensinger. “Without Mike and his team, Peraton would not be prepared to solve missions of consequence across the globe.”

    Why Watch

In 2022, cybersecurity, cloud operations and artificial intelligence/machine learning are at the forefront of Peraton’s priorities. Londregan and his team are making the natural pivot from integration to assuring security can play a dual role as a business enabler and differentiator. This means being administratively sound from a compliance perspective, pursuing proactive initiatives and maintaining strong internal and external relationships.

Even with over 35 years of experience, Londregan credits much of his success to his team and corporate leaders.

“Their advocacy and partnerships enabled the security function to operate at an elevated level of sophistication to protect Peraton’s workforce, customers, intellectual property, brand/reputation and facilities,” he said.
