Professional services firm T-Rex Solutions has added retired Vice Adm. Nancy Norton to its National Security Board of Advisors.
Norton was the Defense Information Systems Agency director and simultaneously served as the commander of the U.S. Cyber Command component responsible for missions to secure, operate and defend the Defense Department’s information network.
Norton said she looks forward to working with the board to provide insights from her experience within DISA and the U.S. Navy.
“T-Rex’s ability to launch and secure the technical integration of the United States Census is a capability we have to replicate and mature throughout the defense and intelligence communities,” she added.
The National Security Board of Advisors convenes government, military and industry leaders to inform T-Rex’s response to national security needs.
Norton’s “unparalleled expertise at the intersection of national security and information technology” will help T-Rex expand and mature its approach to IT modernization and cybersecurity, said Dab Kern, executive vice president of national security programs at T-Rex.
“We are beyond the days of simply protecting data and building resilience,” Kern added. “We must achieve technical overmatch on the global stage.”
